Artificial Intelligence (AI)

AI will be used and offered as a new tool at Tointon Academy, however, any unauthorized use of AI generated work as evidence of student learning would be considered cheating and fall under the school’s policy on cheating and plagiarism.  

Use of AI on assignments falls under our plagiarism policy in our D6 Response to Behavior Protocol and our Board Policy.  Plagiarism results in a zero for the assignment.  Students can redo the work, on their own time, in two days for partial credit.  Plagiarism on assessments, like quizzes and exams, will result in a zero without the ability to make-up the grade.
