Restorative Practices

Our district uses Restorative Practices focusing on building strong foundational relationships, building life skills such as empathy and responsibility while repairing harm and rebuilding relationships rather than simply punishing misbehavior. It involves open dialogue among students, teachers, and others affected by an incident to foster accountability, empathy, and mutual understanding. Restorative practices create a supportive school climate that encourages positive behavior and community building.
